Flowers with the most powerful scent

When selecting flowers to send to somebody special, you want them to look good and smell good. The perfume of the flowers should fill the room so that the recipient enjoys a superb sensory experience. You want the flowers to make the room look and smell incredible.

One floral scent that is easily recognisable is that of lavender. You may have noticed that it is used in many soaps, lotions, household sprays, and detergents. This is because the scent is soothing and pleasant. Hyacinth flowers are available in various colours and they have a similar scent to that of lavender.

Roses are also particularly fragrant flowers and their scent is one of the most popular of all. Since we almost expect roses to greet us with their sweet scent, there are few things worse than approaching a bouquet only to find that they have little to no scent at all. Ask your florist for their most fragrant bunch when sending roses to a loved one. If you enjoy the scent of citrus, then a bouquet of peonies is a great choice. These round flowers have an abundant appearance and their fresh scent that makes them even harder to resist.

Daffodils are also known for their beauty and lovely scent. They have a wonderful way of brightening up a room but it is important to note that they do not last quite as long as most other cut flowers.

As for garden flowers, you will find a number of beautiful smelling flowers that you can plant and enjoy year after year. Some examples include lilacs and jasmine. These amazing flowering plants are quite easy to grow and the benefits are well worth the effort. If you plan on growing gardenias, it's important to note that they are quite delicate and need to be handled with care.
