Unexpectedly North Korean government opened up its mobile network to foreigners.
Now for the first time tweets and Instagram photos from foreign journalists have flooded the web.The set of pictures below have been taken by Jean Lee and this is his Instagram account.
“Until just a few weeks ago, I could not even bring my phone into the country ,I had to give it up at customs. The recent changes will allow foreigners to not only use their own cellphones (with North Korean SIM cards, of course) but also to Tweeter and Skype from one of the world’s most cut-off place in the world.”
