First Impressions of New L'Oreal Colour Riche Eyeshadow Quads

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Generally, I have an idea of the new products a brand is going to release.  I get excited enough about finally tracking those down.  But when I see a new product that I didn't know was going to be released, well that is like finding buried treasure. My reaction when I saw these new quads was literally "Ooooh...shiny. Must have."  Naturally I did not say that out loud, but I did think it.  And here is why:
First Impressions of New L'Oreal Colour Riche Eyeshadow QuadsPretty, right?  I haven't personally worn these yet, but my mom has (I actually got this for her as she loves taupe shadows).  This is Absolute Taupe. I have swatched them and have developed some preliminary opinions.
First of all, the pigment is rather good, which shocked me.  The easiest shades to work with are the cream and taupe (first and second from the top).  They are also the more shimmery shades of the quad.  The darker two were a little less pigmented.  The first thing I noticed while swatching these was that they felt really dry.  Initially, I was concerned about how they would apply and look on the eyes.  When my mom wore them, she did say the shades were a little difficult to blend, but they did look nice.  Once I try these out for myself, I will let you know the full verdict. Also, I found these at Walgreen and I believe they were around $7 or $8.
