Not only is Portugal. The Man (@portugaltheman) one of my favorite all-time bands, they also get my nod as Twitter masters. My stream is cordially flooded with posts from these guys, which typically are very personal, a nice break from the bands that only use Twitter as only a way of plugging their work.
It’s really refreshing to get to know a band (at least to some degree) through their sense of humour, day-to-day happenings, seemingly random pictures, and more. It reminds us that they are indeed human beings and not superheroes like I tend to believe when watching them onstage. They also are great about replying to posts, so feel free to ask them questions or simply goof off with them.
