February-2014-Beauty-Haul

Here’s a few reasonably cheap and exciting beauty products I’ve bought in February 2014 so far.

Lush-No-Drought-Dry-Shampoo

I use dry shampoo quite a lot, but I was finding that my Batiste dry shampoo cans were running out super quickly, and being an aerosol they probably are packed full of horrid chemicals. I decided to try the Lush No Drought dry shampoo which is vegan and has a slight citrus smell. For 50ml this dry shampoo is £3.75, but a bigger size is available.

Lush-T-for-Toes-Foot-Powder

A possibly less romantic item, the Lush T for Toes is a citrus-y smelling foot deodorant powder. Another vegan product, T or Toes can be applied to both toes and shoes to keep them both smelling clean. It smells fresh, feels soft and works pretty well. It’s £4.45 for 60ml, and will likely last a long, long time.

Kiko-products

Kiko is a makeup brand I discovered in Westfield London (Shepherds Bush) and Stratford. They boast to be the up-and-coming by beauty bloggers, and so I bought a couple of nail polishes and eye liner when their sale was on.

Kiko-Laser-Nail-Lacquer

The Kiko Laser Nail Lacquers were £4.90 but I got them for £1.50 each in store. They are currently £1.20 on their website. These are shades 29 (brown) and 27 (red), and are 11ml bottles with a wide applicator.

Kiko-Twinkle-Eye-Pencil

I also for the Kiko Twinkle eye pencil in a green-y turquoise/teal shade. It’s a vivid eyeliner which applies easily, and is mechanical so it doesn’t require sharpening. I got mine for £2.70 reduced from £6.90.

So these are a few useful and colourful additions to my makeup bag which I’m excited to use, and they are all reasonably cheap which is always a bonus. If you tried any, please let me know your thoughts!
