Father’s Day 2013 is just around the corner – time to start shopping! Dad deserves something as cool as he is this year (cooler, if your kids are at that Dad-is-mortifying stage. A few little trinkets or something to tickle his luxury fancy are sure to be big hits – see what we’ve chosen for Father’s Day gift ideas below!

Father's Day Gift Ideas

1. A tray to stash his stray pocket contents. Every man could use a little valet tray catchall to empty his pocket change into or keep his watch safe while he’s not wearing it. This gorgeous Ghurka leather tray can even travel with Dads on the go, it unsnaps to fold flat. It’s made in the USA too for quality that will last. $150 at Kaufmann Mercantile.

2. A little something to put in that tray. No Dad will turn down a nice watch, especially not one that boasts as much power and engineering prowess in its movement as a Rolex. It’s both fashionable and functional, while having the added bonus of being an extremely complex machine. It doesn’t get much more classic than a stainless steel Datejust, but the sodalite dial and diamond markers on this particular Rolex make it unique. $5995 at Raymond Lee Jewelers.

3. If your Dad’s perfect idea for Father’s Day involves sitting by/splashing in the ocean, look no further. Grab a pair of these fun board shorts ($60 at J. Crew), wrap them up pretty and present to Dad over an indulgent breakfast, along with a beach bag and cooler packed for the rest of the day.

4. If one of the Dads in your life happens to be brand new to the title, a sentimental gift is the way to go. Etsy shop SketchAway creates custom water color illustrations based off of photos – commemorate Daddy and baby in a beautiful and sweet portrait for $175.

5. Whiskey stones are one of our favorite gifts for men in general, but we’re loving these sweet D-A-D etched blocks from Biscuit-Home.com And at only $14, you can also grab a bottle of Dad’s favorite top-shelf labels and toast to him.

6. Ties for Father’s Day – been there, done that. But they remain an excellent gift anyways. We like the idea of turning this tradition on its head and letting Dad tie one on in style. This leather tie case by Moore and Giles is $185 and almost as handsome as Dad himself. Available at MooreandGiles.com
