Farmer's Choice and Celebrating Valentines Day with Your Sweetie Pie

Farmer’s Choice are an online butchers, green grocers and deli that deliver completely free range, British meat and produce to homes across the UK.  I am a guest author on their site and they have just put up several more of my recipes to help to make your Valentines Supper on the 14th February one of the sweetest possible.   As you know I like simple and easy recipes, that deliver lots of flavor with the least amount of effort, using quality ingredients and simple cooking methods.

First up Gammon Steaks with a Tangy Gerkin Sauce.   A deliciously different way of presenting a gammon steak that doesn't involve a slice of pineapple or a fried egg on top.  (Not that those aren't good!)  This is just a tad bit more special.   This is one I cooked often for the Mr when I worked at the big house.  It's that tangy/salty contrast thing that makes it taste so special.

This is my recipe for Port and Cherry Sauced Pork Cutlets.   Using pork tenderloin, dried cherries, ruby port and raspberry jam this is a very special entree indeed and, once again, just that little bit different than the ordinary.  Todd loves it when I make this.  It turns Pork Tenderloin into something to celebrate.  It has beautiful flavours.  Pork and fruit are a marriage made in heaven.
