A couple of years ago we took a family photo. I was looking at that photo recently thinking how glad I was we made time to do it. I figured it would be the last family photo that included my Dad. It never occured to me that the first person missing from the photo would be my sister-in-law Marlene.
We spent a lot of time at Marlene's wake staring at family photos. Some of those events seemed like yesterday. Others brought back fond memories. In each case I was glad that someone took the time to click the photo.
It made me realize I'm way behind in putting family photos in the girls' photo albums. It's now my summer project.
