Fall 2011 Runway Makeup Breakdown

I picked three of my favorite fashion designers that always bring feminity, elegance, and  refined style through their collections.    
      RALPH LAUREN RUNWAY MAKEUP 
  
     Tom Pecheux for the Ralph Lauren collection used grays for eyes from an upcoming eyeshadow duo-"Modern Mercuri" and emphasized lips with Estee Lauder's New Pure Color Lipstick in Wildfire. The makeup really suits Ralph Lauren's vision of creating a union between elegant, sophisticated apparel and  Asian style accessories.    
   OSCAR DE LA RENTA RUNWAY MAKEUP 

  Revlon's artistic director Gucci Westman for the Oscar de la Renta collection mixed  ColorBurst Lipsticks in Fuchsia and Candy Pink to achieve that beautiful rosiness that she applied on model's cheeks.  Lips were kept in a nude color with Westman's upcoming Multi-Use Palette in Bordeaux in the Snow and eyebrows got darkened with Revlon’s Brow Fantasy in Dark Brown.  For eyes she used Revlon’s ColorStay Liquid Liner in Blackest Black and gray from ColorStay 12 Hour Eyeshadow Quad in Silver Fox. I would say it looks amazing, and I would like to try this look.
   THAKOON RUNWAY MAKEUP 
  
    For Thakoon's collection, the make -up artist Diane Kendal got inspired by the African sunsets and applied an amalgamation of reds, oranges and pinks on model's eyelids. Color palettes used are  NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl, Nars Taj Mahal, Exibit A and Desire.
