facebook wants face.com
Facebook used to be called thefacebook.com at the beginning of its establishment, so if they could also remove the word'' book', why not? Facebook proceed with the acquisition of Face.com, at a purchase price of $ 80-100 million. Face.com is an Israel-based startup that does not just have a catchy domain, but also has the ability to scan the user's images to identify the faces within; in short to make tagging photos easier. Of course Facebook would want it, mainly because users upload 300 million photos per day; this would further deepen those aspects of face recognition.  source
