Face of Australia Glitterati Nails

Dancing Queen $4.95

I am a little late on the bandwagon here but each time I've been into my Priceline to pick up one of these they are always out! I usually take this as a good sign- means the product must be good right?!
On my recent trip to Adelaide of course I popped into Priceline to pick up a few bits and pieces and luckily they had some of the Glitterati polishes in stock.
There has been a great deal of blogger hype surrounding these polishes so of course I have been itching to get my hands on these. Now that I have tried them what do I think? Actually I was a little underwhelmed. I have swatched the polish above so that you can see the opacity of the glitter. One coat gives a decent effect to the nail but it doesn't look particularly interesting on its own. I have also tried it over a black polish- this makes it slightly more interesting but still nothing to write home about. The only other polish in the range that has caught my eye is Studio 54 a really pretty rose gold glitter but I have never been able to find this in store.
To be honest I think I prefer Revlon or Sally Hansen glitter polishes- I found the Face of Australia polish really thick and gloopy and hard to work with. I think I'll give the rest of these a miss.
