I'm still in summer mode and it appears Mother Nature is, as well, but it's still good to think about transitioning that wardrobe, which is exactly what the latest Fabletics collection is here to help us with. (view some past collections here, here and here)
The latest collection, Summer Nights, is filled with darker hues and mysterious prints inspired by the cosmic lights and starry night sky. This collection wants you to explore the unknown and discover were the remaining summer nights will take you while also providing you with pieces that will easily make the transition from summer to fall.
Let's take a look at my selects for the month:
The color of this tank makes it the perfect transitional piece. In the summer, I'll wear it as a simple tank, but in the fall, I could layer a cute sweater or jacket over it. The horizontal spaghetti strap detail in the front is cute and different, and the fabric is nice and soft. The only issue with this top is that you have to wear a strapless bra. Not my fave, but not a deal breaker.
I wanted to like this skirt so badly. The concept behind it is awesome, but the length of the mesh overlay is really odd. I want it to either be a maxi or fall above my knee, but it's kind of mid-calf. Perhaps I can hem it (and by that I mean have my mom hem it because I am inept), but the mesh might make that tricky.
