Fab Night Creams Worth Trying

By Makemeupmandy @mandywebb28

So bouncing off my post on night creams the other day, I thought I’d round off with a few awesome night cream recommendations that I have been trying this year. I do have probably no less than 9 different night creams on my desk at the moment – some I have tried briefly but didn’t like, a couple I have yet to even open. These 3 that I’m talking about today are my faves out of all these. I hope you find it useful if you’re looking for a night cream x

Night Creams Trilogy Rosapene Burt's Bees Radiance Innoxa Renew

Night Creams Trilogy Rosapene Burt's Bees Radiance Innoxa Renew

Trilogy Rosapene Night Cream (60ml) // I just did a review about this the other day so I won’t repeat too much. In a nutshell, this night cream is a complete star in my books. Beautiful rose scent, so gently hydrating and full of certified natural and organic ingredients. I don’t just like it; I actually really love it! You can read my review here.

Burt’s Bees Radiance Night Cream with Royal Jelly (55g) // This cream reminds me of a golden baked tart filled with fresh gently whipped lemon mousse. Is there even such a thing? I don’t know but it just feels that yummy that food comes to mind (no, I have not tried tasting it). This yummy night cream uses sweet almond and sunflower oil to moisturise, lemon peel extract to balance out pH levels, rosemary and horsetail leaf extracts to clarify the skin and aid skin renewal. Royal Jelly is well known for its moisturising, anti-aging and healing benefits and helps to nourish the skin.

I enjoy the scent – it smells like… yogurt? (More food inspiration!).  A pity I can’t describe it a bit better but it is a nice, fresh scent. It feels like butter when I take a swipe, a little on the balmy side and while it spreads easily, it down side though, it contains ‘Parfum (Fragrance)’ so be aware if you are allergic. I wish the scent was naturally derived! That would have topped the cake for me. You can read my post on the Burt’s Bees Radiance Toner here.

Innoxa Renew Anti-Ageing & Firming Night Crème  (50ml) // Yes, this is an anti-ageing range that is targeting at 35+ year olds. I’m not quite there but I’m well on my way. This night cream is formulated to fight signs of aging by protecting against the skin against environmental damage, hydrating, boosting skin elasticity and aiding dermal repair. Key ingredients include vitazyme ace, aquaxyl, dermaxyl, avocado and jojoba oils and hyaluronic acid. It’s not as thick and creamy as I expected, in fact its texture lies on the thin and runny side. It is not greasy at all and blends super well – better than both the Trilogy Rosapene and Burt’s Bees Radiance Night Cream. It still, however, performs really well in hydrating. I can  Downsides? I dislike the fragrance. I can only describe it as very ‘cosmetic’. I would have preferred a lighter, refreshing scent or better yet, a naturally derived one.

All 3 night creams are available at Priceline and selected pharmacies. Burt’s Bees Radiance Night Cream is currently on a 20% promotion.
