Eye Primers

By Eveemadeup @eveemadeup
For those of you that have never used an eye primer before now is the time to start! Ever find after a couple of hours you get that annoying crease on the eyelid? Yes? Well you're in need of a good primer! We love using the paint pots by Mac as they create a perfect base for the eyes. As the creams contain silicone it acts as a smooth surface for your eye shadows to lay on top of and resist any oil. They really help eyeliners stay put and powder eye shadows show up more like you see them rather than a wash of color.
MAC have recently launched a new range of long lasting paint pots which I highly recommend for simple looks or to act as a base under a smokey eye (blackground is particularly good for this!) At a reasonable price of £14.50 I will definitely be purchasing a few!

Another option similar to the Mac paint pots are the 24hour tattoo eyeshadows by Maybelline. These are a steal at £4.99 and are a must have for a brighter look on the eye! They also do some great nude shades that have a really great pigment pay off.

I had to include my trusty primer from Urban Decay that never lets me down. This is one of those products that you can always rely on. It is translucent and perfect for brides that don't want any shimmer or color from a primer. Its just a great all round product that needs to come back to Boots!! ;( It is in a few of the larger stores and Selfridges. You can also purchase at some House of Frasers for £15
Eye PrimersThanks for reading and we'd love to hear about any other eye primers you can't live without!
