Lip balms are an essential, I think we would all agree on that, but lip balms that cost an arm and a leg, well, maybe not so much... I never really expected to pick the Dior ADDICT Lip Glow up, but the cute packaging and promise of amazing things lured me in, and I haven't been disappointed so far.
A pink tinted lip balm with some fancy stuff going on in the formula means that this supposedly works with the chemistry of your lips, something to do with pH I think, to create a unique and personalised colour, which is different every time that you use it. I think it is such a clever idea, and so nice that this will work for all to create a look that perfectly suits them - although I'm not sure how much of a gimmick it is. On me, it gives my lips a sheer sheen of a kind of hot pink but tones down (I'm pretty sure that is the worst color description ever!) as well as moisturising the lips, thanks to the mango extracts in it and protecting against the sun. And can we just admire the packaging for a second ... girly, cute and chic and probably one of my favourites that I own.
This is perfect for someone who wants to treat themselves to a luxury product, but isn't such a fan of a bold lip. Definitely an extravagance, but also incredibly essential too. What do you think, would you ever buy something like this?
