This Fall 2013, ION wants shoppers to indulge in beauty – they have premiered the Beauty Season and together with several beauty brands, ION Orchard has SGD$30,000 worth of beauty products for you!
The Beauty Season is very easily accessible via your mobile phone – key in this URL via your mobile phone:http://beauty.ionorchard.com or scan the QR code I’ve attached below. You don’t even need to download an app (although ION Orchard has an ION Orchard Store app available for both iPhones and Androids). I’ve accessed the app via my phone and have screencapped the pages I visited to share with you.

Once you access it, you will see this page that prompts you to Connect – the login is via Facebook and the terms and conditions indicate that the mobile campaign is neither associated with Facebook and neither is ION Orchard authorising Facebook to use or access your information (You can read the full list of Terms and Conditions via the campaign app itself).
Once you’ve logged in, you will be shown what you need to do – just click on whichever participating brand you choose and redeem the samples. The following photos show you which are the 15 brands that are still available for sample redemption – Fancl and YSL samples have been fully redeemed the last I checked.
I like the way the app has been created – each brand link you click on, provides clear details on the sample – the product, the size and even the value. Here are some examples:
Here are some of the samples that are up for redemption – I’ve heard wonderful things about the Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream which is one of their best-selling products and I’m going to try my sample soon. And by now, you will know that I’m a very big fan of Shu Uemura Cleansing Oils so if you’ve been curious about them and hesitant to take the plunge, this might be a great way to try.
I think this is a great way for shoppers to try beauty products – no purchase is required and there is a good variety of brands to choose from. The men have been thoughtfully included too, with the addition of Biotherm Homme and Lab Series. And of course, this provides the perfect excuse to get out of the house and head out to ION Orchard for some shopping – the Fall collections are all in and absolutely inviting.
