I have found these 4 oils to be the most useful in supporting tiny baby bodies and I am so excited to share them with you!

Lavender - probably my favorite essential oil for my baby. There are so many uses for this oil and it helps with everything from allergies to baby acne, blocked tear ducts, calming a restless baby, cradle cap, fever, most skin blemishes, pink-eye and much more.

  • skin blemishes: diffuse and dilute 1 to 2 drops with a carrier oil and rub in circular motion over desired area.
  • fever and allergies: rub 1 to 2 drops on the bottom of feet
  • blocked tear duct and pink-eye: dilute 1 drop with a carrier oil and rub on the bridge of nose several times a day.

Digize - has taken the place of gas drops in our home. It is helpful in aiding with colic, constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, and upset stomach.

Dilute 1 to 2 drops with carrier oil and rub in a circular motion on belly (lower abdomen.)

Gentle Baby - a wonderful smelling blend made specifically for mothers and babies. It promotes bonding and calms emotions during pregnancy. It can help calm your upset baby and soothe delicate skin.

  • Diffuse as desired
  • dilute with a carrier oil (olive, V6 or coconut.) and apply on your growing belly, feet, lower back, and neck.
  • this one is great added to coconut or V6 oil as an after-bath or pre-bedtime baby massage oil - just a drop will do!
*Bergamot is in this blend, which increases photo-sensitivity so be sure to stay away from direct sunlight for 48 hours after applying.

RC - is my go-to oil for congestion.

  • diffuse when you sense congestion coming on.
  • dilute 1 drop with a carrier oil and rub on baby's chest, back and bottom of feet. We also use a NoseFrida to clear out any snot blocking the nasal passage and apply RC several times a day. (Parents, if you don't yet have a NoseFrida, you NEED one. It's the ONLY nasal aspirator that actually works!)
