Engagement Rings Under 2000 Dollars

By Raymondleejewelers @raymondleejwlrs

This week’s engagement ring eye candy is another step in our crusade to prove that a stunning engagement ring doesn’t need to break the budget. In fact, one of the most important parts of finding the perfect engagement ring is setting a budget that you are comfortable with. That means if you’re searching for engagement rings under 2000 dollars then you’ve set a budget you’re comfortable with, one that won’t throw you into debt. The “two months salary” standard is a myth – that is absolutely not the fail-proof way to set an engagement ring budget. We’d rather you pay your rent, enjoy your life, save for your future (along with saving for a diamond). If it takes longer to save for the ring you want, then so be it (sorry ladies and gents eager to have their partner put a ring on it – sometimes it really is worth the wait!) And when you’re young and in love, it’s not always easy to pull out all the stops (and by stops we mean tens of thousands of dollars) for a bubblegum-machine-sized rock. That’s what anniversary presents are for. But if you are on a strict budget, there’s no reason why you can’t buy a stunning engagement ring that will take her breath away. Yes, gents have it easier as most men aren’t hankering for a huge diamond solitaire and men’s engagement rings are typically less expensive, so today we’re focusing on ladies’ engagement rings. The key to stretching your budget is easy: think outside the box. There are so many fabulous alternative engagement rings on the market today that eschew diamonds and gemstones altogether – your girl might prefer a funk, hand carved wooden band, or maybe a delicate band of precious metal. However, we are partial to gemstones (obviously) so we’re showing off some gorgeous diamond and gemstone engagement rings that are all under $2000.

Pink heart ring with tourmaline and diamonds

18k White Gold 1ct Diamond Pink Tourmaline Heart Ring

This beautiful ring is perfect for the true girly girl. A pink tourmaline heart measuring 8mm by 8mm is a beautiful focal point, but it’s surrounded by a carat of diamond micropave all set in 18kt white gold. ANd at $1995, it gives you the look of a fancy colored diamond or pink sapphire for under $2000.

Tanzanite and Diamond Ring

14k White Gold Tanzanite .80ct Diamond Ring

Another brightly colored gem surrounded by diamonds, this incredible tanzanite ring pops as an engagement ring. Tanzanites are actually more rare than diamonds, but thankfully are a much more reasonable price – making them perfect gemstones for shoppers on a budget. To boot, they’re absolutely captivating. There’s no other gem with that bright violet hue and it is truly magnificent. Add .80ctw of diamonds and you’ve got a beautiful, regal and eye catching engagement ring for $1695.

Princess cut engagement ring under 2000

For the traditionalist, nothing but diamonds will do. One of our favorite ways to create a big visual impact and the look of a larger diamond is by clustering smaller diamonds together. because larger diamonds are rarer than the smaller ones, they’re more expensive. So four .25ct diamonds in one ring will cost considerably less than a 1 carat solitaire. This ring uses princess cuts (really, the best diamond shape to use with this technique) invisibly set together to create the look of one large princess cut diamond. But it doesn’t stop there, with 8 more princess cut diamonds set into the shank. This engagement ring is under 1000, so $995 will put a huge smile on your new fiance’s face.

Half carat princess cut engagement ring

Finally, we have a gorgeous half carat princess cut diamond set into a modern, curved 14kt white gold ring. The princess cut diamond channel set into the prongs are a stunning addition that add a little extra bit of sparkle. Probably the most traditional of the bunch, this engagement ring is still $1995.
