This is one of the very few temple’s scattered around the capital city, Ulaanbaatar. A place of peace and quiet that endures with the growing urban chaos, and that managed to be untouched during the Soviet anti-religious campaigns in Mongolia between 1921 and 1941, and engineered by Joseph Stalin and Khorloogiin Choibalsan (Leader of the Mongolian People’s Republic at that time).
