The weekend before the apocalypse was pretty low-key by the standards of our new terrible reality. On Friday, Emperor Baby Fists took a meeting with Steve Harvey, who had spent the days previous to the meeting in a firestorm of bad publicity for mocking Asian men. Considering Harvey’s outdated views on women, dating, sex and relationships, it’s no surprise that he would agree to meet with President P-ssy Grabber. What happened next was pretty classic though. Following Congressman John Lewis’s public comments that Trump is not a legitimate president (because of all of the help he got from Russia), Trump decided to tweet about the civil rights legend:

“All talk, talk, talk – no action.” It’s been said many times that most of Trump’s attacks on other people are largely the complaints which could be lodged against him. John Lewis has been all action since he was a kid – he literally has more than fifty years of activism, disruption, advocacy and protest in his background and he’s still challenging and working and being a vital voice for the left. Some would even argue that he’s a living saint and the soul of America. Anyway, it’s pretty classic of Baby Fists to attack a civil rights icon on MLK weekend, right?
And then this happened – Saturday Night Live returned and their cold open was Alec Baldwin’s Trump doing a take on Trump’s insane press conference:
