Emma & Jon’s Dillington House Wedding last weekend was a beautiful introduction to working at this stunning Somerset Wedding venue.
From the scenic setting for their traditional church wedding in Courtham Denham, through to the reception at Dillington House.
A day fortunate to have great spring weather, with high temperatures and sunshine, along with a wonderfully warm group of family & friends.
Starting our coverage at the family home in Courtham Denham, a mere stones throw from the local church of St Andrews.
Close family along with bridesmaids were with Emma, for the morning whilst final adjustments were made to hair and make-up.
Some beautiful frames were presented and captured, especially when it came to Emma getting into her dress. All too much for one of the Bridesmaids, with a few tears being shed, overwhelmed by the scene.
The church service was magnificent with the choir from Emma’s former school – Sherborne Girls, supporting them for the day.
A brief car journey over to Dillington House, for canapés and drink reception on the terraces, before dining, speeches and dancing.
The landscaped grounds were spectacular. Even in this early season with much of the grounds awaiting coming out from the winter rest. We found time to wonder the grounds for a few moments between courses and captured some stunning images.
I’m really looking forward to presenting the finished edit to Emma & Jon upon their return from honeymoon.
