Emilia Clarke, the Mother of Dragons has expressed that she is about to quit Game of Thrones after the Eight season. It has been almost seven years since the world famous fantasy series first gone air. The series has maintained its fame since then.

Emilia has been acting as Daenerys Targaryen in the series and has been loved by many GOT fans. In a recent interview with the Rolling Stone Emilia said "I mean, I have no doubt there'll be prequels and sequels and who knows what else, but I am doing one more season. And then that'll be it."

The fantasy series is about to end in the Eight season (As far as the published books are concerned). There might be other seasons if George R.R.Martin releases the sixth and seventh parts of the series, but, Emilia won't be a part of it.

When asked about the series coming to an end Clarke said "There's going to be a shake-up of my identity, I think, and I feel like I'm only going to understand what the last seven years has been when we stop."

Though she has quit still a season has to be filmed so we might actually see her for another couple of years at least. The seventh season of the series is about to premier on July 16, 2017.
