Established in 1991, KLM Cityhopper is the regional airline subsidiary of KLM. In 2008 the airline began a renewal of its fleet, starting with an order of Embraer 190-100 aircraft to replace its aging Fokker aircraft. There are currently 30 of these ERJ-190s in the fleet.
