Emanuel and the Fear Release Thoughtful Visual for ‘I Believe’ [Premiere]

In between the bouncing riffs and upbeat percussion of Emanuel and the Fear’s “I Believe” lies an important message — despite our differences, there’s much to learn from all types of people and often our struggles and victories look the same. The song’s new video, a fitting visual for this theme, begins with a series of scenes, all very different and all being filmed in various ways. From illegal trash dumping and skateboarding to childbirth and Republican rallies, the video’s lead character has taken it upon himself to capture these people’s stories, perfectly illustrating this message of unity. As the stories unfold, the video implies that amongst all our differences, the human experience is often broadly the same. Though each scenario begins with pain, struggle or strife, their conclusions are often happy, with people landing their big jump, celebrating or just having fun.

Watch the video above, and be sure to check out Emanuel and the Fear’s new album Primitive Smile, out September 23 of this year.
