Easy Chocolate Cheesecake Recipe.

Chocolate Cheese Cake Recipe I had a little craving for Cheesecake yesterday so decided to treat myself and make a chocolate cheesecake as they really are simple and far more tasty that the shop bought ones.
I thought I would share with you the quick and easy recipe in case you fancied making it yourself.
You will need -
150g Digestive Biscuits
45g Butter, melted
110g Caster Sugar
120ml Whipping Cream
150g Dark Chocolate
2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
200g Cream Cheese.
Chocolate Cheese Cake Recipe
1. Crush the Digestive Biscuits. I do this by putting them into a clear freezer/sandwich bag and bang it with a rolling pin. (It is quite a good stress relief)
2. Mix the biscuits with the melted butter and a tbsp of the Caster Sugar.
3. Once mixed press into a 6/8 inch springform cake tin and place in the fridge. (Make sure your tin is springform as you will never get the cheesecake out otherwise.)
4. Melt the chocolate and set to cool.
5. Whip the cream until soft peaks form
6. Add the cooled chocolate and cocoa powder to the cream and blend well together.
7. In a separate bowl beat the cream cheese and remaining sugar together.
8. Once mixed fold in the cream chocolate mixture and make sure it is all mixed thoroughly together.
9. Spread the mixture on top of the crushed biscuits you put in the fridge earlier.
10. Leave in the fridge for at least an hour to set.

This took me about half an hour to make and then I left it to set whilst we ate dinner. It certainly has gone down well with everyone as there is only half of it left already.
