Posted on the 17 December 2013 by Geekasms @geekasms

Disney and Pixar are known for throwing in little Easter eggs into their films, and their latest; Frozen, is no exception.  Disney has revealed on their blog, a few Easter eggs that you can spot in the film. (I’m willing to bet there are more than just these)

First up,  at the coronation scene, you might spot fellow Disney royals, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from Tangled

In case you still can’t spot them, here is a zoomed in image.

While the appearance of Mickey Mouse in the terrific short “Get a Horse!” which screens before Frozen, he also makes an appearance in the film.  A tiny Mickey Mouse plush hides on one of the bottom shelves in Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Sauna

Next is a callback to “Wreck It Ralph” where Anna stands next to a table full of sweets, on the plate closest to her is a stack of candies from the video game “Sugar Rush”

Finally, the filmmakers loved this painting—made during the Tangled development phase and based on “The Swing” by Jean-Honoré Fragonard—so much that they made it part of Anna’s signature song, “For the First Time in Forever.”

No doubt there are more Easter Eggs in this wonderful film.  Are there any you’ve caught that Disney hasn’t told us about?
