Dupe Time: Lorac Luminizing Powder in Spotlight

By Beauteandtheblog
Hello beauties!
Today I wanted to share with you a dupe of the very popular Lorac Luminizing Powder in Spotlight. Now, I never really got into highlighting, so I never jumped on the band wagon and purchased Lorac Spotlight for myself, even though I hear raves about it all the time.
I did, however, purchase E.L.F's $1 Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Luminance, and what do you know, it's a very, very close dupe.
I managed to swatch Lorac Spotlight at Ulta, and I gotta say, E.L.F really gives it a run for its money.
Here we go!

Dupe Time: Lorac Luminizing Powder in Spotlight

As you can see, they're both very similar. Of course, the Lorac is a little better quality, but at $32, it very well should be.
E.L.F Luminance is a bit powdery, and not very finely milled. Make sure you use a light hand, because one dip with your brush with pick up a lot of product. The packaging is also a very cheap, clear plastic, but for $1, what do you expect?
Lorac Spotlight is also slightly more pigmented, but as you can see from the swatches, the two are very similar. Both powders are very smooth and apply well. They have about the same amount of shimmer, with maybe the E.L.F being slightly more shimmery.
E.L.F will definitely save you some major bucks on this one.
Try it out, and let me know what you think!
Have a fabulous day!
Belle
