Double Leather

Crochet Knit: River Island, Leather Skirt: also River Island, Leather Jacket: Topshop, Tights: Marks and Spencers, Boots: Primark, Gold Twist Lock Belt: Primark, Satchel: Vintage

Just a quickie of todays outfit. Nothing overly exciting, pretty simple, but slightly dramatic. Being one of your typical fans of repping the double-denim look, today I opted to try the double leather look. The leather jacket and skirt work well together, rather than being an overdose of too much leather. I think it helped that both the textures of the leather were quite different. The skirt is a soft, light leather with an uneven length which gives it an unusual, but unique, look (short at the front, longer at the back). The weather was wet and blustery today, but fortunately the leather weight of the skirt meant it didn't blow up and reveal all. I tucked in a simple silk crochet knit, and wrapped round one of my latest Primark purchases: my gold twist lock belt. My boots...well what can I say apart from the fact that my feet are practically living in them pretty much every other day. They are so stylish, and definitely look more expensive than a Primark find. In fact, a friend of mine said "Oh I've seen those, there from...wait don't tell me...Topshop". When I told her they were from Primark...her face said it all.
I may of just got my first press release day in the diary.
What do you think of the double leather look?
