Donuts Beats Richemont To the New gTLD .Jewelry To Go With .Diamonds

Donuts has won the new gTLD .Jewelry to go with its .Diamonds new gTLD beating Richemont

Richemont DNS Inc. is the wholly owned subsidiary of Compagnie Financière Richemont S.A, the prominent Swiss luxury goods holding company, submitted 14 applications for new gTLD’s of which they now have now withdrawn 4 including .Love

For those not familiar with Richemont, they are a public company that own some of the largest luxury brands in the world including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC, Panerai and Montblanc.

The company stock symbol is CFRUY

The company has a market value of $46 Billion.

Donuts has previously  won the new gTLD’s .diamond and .watch

Richemont was the sole applicant for .watches.

The auction for .jewelry was scheduled to go to an ICANN Last Resort Auction later this month.

We will see if Donuts keeps this one in their name or assigns it to Rightside.
