Don’t Wait Up: Robert DeLong at WayHome 2016!

Take a second to think about every one-man-band you've ever seen on the street or in a video... now amplify that by a hundred, add some great vocals, get ready to dance, and you're almost ready to see Robert DeLong do his thing live.

In the middle of WayHome day 3, DeLong hit the WayBold stage and hosted a dance party for a few thousand music fans that were ready for a good time. With drum kits on the left and the right of his main rig, there was no stopping the movement on stage from one spot to another, and that only fed into the energy in the crowd.

From the start there was a feeling of something cool when the crowd popped as Robert DeLong took the stage, and when he started to play and sing, it all kicked off for real. Throughout the crowd there was jumping and dancing and smiles on faces - and on stage there was jumping and playing and dancing and a genuine feeling that this is an artist enjoying the hell out of the chance to play for the crowd.

Tracks like Religious Views, Don't Wait Up, and Jealousy were super well received - and 100% the kind of music you'd play if you wanted to get a heap of people dancing any time.

The WayBold stage, with it's tented crowd area, was the perfect spot for the set, giving a real dancefloor feel that made us wonder what it would be like to see Robert DeLong at a club full of people ready to party all over again.

This dude is multi-talented and if you've got a chance to check him out and feel like moving your body, take it - and be ready to sweat!
