Looks like I’ll be buying Minecraft for the Xbox 360, as Doctor Who is coming to it in September!
The Doctor is about to go all “Blocktor Who” on us thanks to BBC Worldwide, Microsoft Studios and Mojang teaming up to develop a series of Doctor Who-themed packs that will include character skins and more, inspired by the show.
The first pack will include a character inspired by the Twelfth Doctor, plus five other Doctors, each of their on-screen companions and some of the Doctor’s most well known adversaries including but not limited to, the Daleks.
There will be additional DLC packs in the future, each featuring at least six Doctors and will be released regularly following the broadcast episodes in Series 8.

Working collaboratively with Microsoft, we’ve created an exciting new product which will allow Doctor Who fans to create their own brand new adventures in the heart of the iconic world of Minecraft.”
My kids are huge into mincraft, so it might be time I check this game out too. Try to find the bridge to finally gain some kidpanions!
