DL1961 Denim Spring/Summer 2013 Women's Collection

DL1961 Jeans, who I've previously featured on mylifeonandofftheguestlist.com but only as a brand showcased in lounges, etc presented their first runway show during New York Fashion Week. The extremely crowded show opened up with dancers dressed in DL1961 Jeans which featured its newest denim technology, X-Fit Lycra with modal fibers, making it 50% more absorbent than cotton, provides a gorgeous sheen and allows the jeans to mold to the body better

The collection itself featured lots of fun printed denim in various hues and distinctive embellishments, paying homage to it's New York City roots. For Spring 2013, expect the latest in fashion-forward and trendsetting denim washes, prints and textures, as well as distressing, hand embroidery and leather accents, couture embroidery, cool metallic tones, muted pastels, and a throwback to acid washed jeans, denim jackets and vests from DL1961.

For their Spring 2013 show, DL1961 Denim partnered with Nylon’s Style Editor-at-Large, Dani Stahl, to style the runway show and Julia Samersova Adler from E!’s “Scouted” to cast the show.
