Let me show you how to make these really nice and inexpensive votive candle holders. These are perfect for around the home or even as a thoughtful present. I chose to base my pictures on Ewans first year.
STEP 1: You will need a jar or some kind (i used a old pickled onions jar), A tape measure, PVA Glue (Preferably an adhesive and sealer all in one), A paint brush, Scissors, Your chosen photographs copied onto regular printing paper & a cup of char (OPTIONAL) STEP 2: Measure your jar to see how many photos can be fitted on and whether or not they need trimming down. Then cut your photographs according to measurements (I trimmed some of mine down so i had variety in size). STEP 3: Next glue down all of your photographs onto the jar using the PVA glue, apply liberally. STEP 4: Once all images are stuck down onto the jar, apply a coat of PVA glue over the top of every image to ensure they are sealed. Leave to dry for around half hour - hour ensuring it is completely dry before touching. Then place a tea light or votive candle in the bottom and light. VOILA!!
