As if the chandelier necklace wasn’t enough, I decided to take inspiration from the catwalk (MAWI) and make myself a crystal embellished chandelier clutch incited by Honsetly WTF’s awesome tutorial. I thought I’d share my interpretation with you.

Mine is a little more subtle, as the clutch from Topshop was rather interestingly very Roger Vivier itself. I’d say the major difference is that I sewed mine on using a leather needle rather than using glue (and i didn’t use glitter either). I sewed on the pieces because they simply lasts longer that way, and if you can see through the glass then you can see the glue. I find that glue works well for the first couple of months then slowly things start falling off. I know I’ll be taking with me to crowded areas, so I needed something less fragile. My suggestion is to buy crystal or glass with holes in.

Its so quick and easy I thought I’d share the step by step as there are only two.

The how to :

1. You will need : Crystal or glass drops. A leather needle and thread, a clutch or bag and scissors.IMG 6968web DIY CHANDELIER CLUTCH

2. Sew the drops onto the bag, make sure you go through plenty of times as the glass can be quite heavy.

Thats it, its so easy – the candelier clutch is definately worth a try. Take care!
