Digital Billboards for Japan Tragedy

On the day of tsunami disaster in Japan, Olympus Media posted this creative on their digital billboard network in as many markets as possible. Art Director, Eddy Herty on why they did this:

It’s just the right thing to do. We’re all connected and it does impact all of us and just the thought that someone might see this and get involved. Helping out in their own way could make such an incredible difference to the lives of people overseas…people we’ve never met, all because someone “had an idea.” This could be where it comes from. And who cares if we ever know that? Just the fact that someone else got involved is enough.

The advancing technology of digital billboards has given us an incredible opportunity to be timely with creative projects. Specifically creative projects to promote a cause or just to spark and extend conversation.

Olympus Media has been kind enough to offer their Photoshop file for free download. You are welcome to download the file, resize and post it on digital billboards anywhere.
