Did You Know That October Is National Eczema Awareness Month?

By Heather Hahn @HeatherHahnn

Happy Wednesday, or…happy hump day, same thing.

I hope that you’re enjoying your day so far, as it’s literally mid-week again, wahoo!

Anyways, October is one of my favorite months, not only because of Halloween, but because it’s actually ‘National Eczema Awareness Month‘, and I am someone who struggles with eczema myself.

I’ve had eczema for years and years, both on my neck, and on my legs.

Unfortunately for many of those years, I could not find a single solution to this problem.

I tried steroid cream from my primary doctor, and I went to see a specialist. Then I was prescribed a different cream, that didn’t end up even working out for me.

This was a major let down, and I felt as though I had hit my breaking point. No over the counter cream or medication worked either.

So, at this point, I literally just gave up, and used whatever I had in hand.

Well…………….

When I was least expecting it, it really wasn’t until recently last month, that I heard about, and came across, this sensitive skincare brand called, Cheryl Lee MD.

Believe it or not, all of Cheryl Lee MD’s products offer an effective path to repair your skin barrier, and they use patent-pending TrueLipid technology.

As you can imagine, right when I heard this, I jumped on board to try out a few of their products to see if it would actually work on my skin, when I had just about tried EVERYTHING….

{ See, I told you I had an eczema problem….}

That’s when I soon learned that the company was started by board certified dermatologist, Cheryl Lee D. Eberting.

The reason why she started this skincare line was because she actually had developed a passion for helping those who suffer from many different, and difficult skin conditions.

She wanted to create products that really produced results.

Through, countless formulations and reformulations, Cheryl developed these TrueLipid line of products, so that they are effective and tolerated by most people with these serious skin conditions, like myself.

What I loved most about this skincare line was that all of the products are manufactured in the U.S, and that they used superior ingredients.

The line is also patent-pending, FDA registered, and is accepted as a result by the National Eczema Association!

The product that I tried out by them was actually a kit. They sell kits, as well as individual products, which is pretty nice.

I tried out their ‘Ultimate Eczema Kit‘.

unnamed-1

It’s valued at $99, but it’s totally worth it, if you have a feeling that it’s going to help a skin condition that you’ve been suffering with for many years.

Before I purchased the kit, here’s a few key notes that I learned, before I made my final decision:

Their products help:

+ Deficient Lipid Production

+ Abnormal pH

+ Inflammation

+ Infection

+ Dry Skin, Eczema Problems & More!

So if you have normal or sensitive skin, and want to soothe, calm, soften, and protect your skin, or if you fight eczema, rosacea, cracked heels, aging skin, and several other conditions, their TrueLipids line can help, and no more suffering for you!

Their Ultimate Eczema Kit is a 3 step process that includes:

+ TrueLipids Relieve & Protect Ointment

+ TrueLipids TrueTherapy Ceramide+ Cream

+ TrueLipids Eczema Experts Anti-Itch 1% Hydrocortisone Barrier Cream

I apply the Hydrocortisone Barrier Cream first, and then I apply the TrueTherapy Ceramide+ Cream, and then the Relieve & Protect Ointment.

So far, my eczema patches of skin seem to be less dry, irritated, and I can actually start to see the patch on my neck fading!

Lets just hope this keeps up, but I have a feeling that it will!

If you, or someone you know is suffering from eczema, I would highly recommend having them check out Cheryl Lee MD.
