Delaney Gibson – “Tall Like The Tree”

TallLikeTheTree_AlbumCoverHello everyone!  We’ve had a hard few months here at Catch My Ear so I haven’t been able to do interviews or reviews.  I am here to say we are back and listening to new music at full force!  My first review for 2015 is from an amazing singer named Delaney Gibson.  I’m honored to be able to tell you about her because I was actually contacted to listen to her music by a music submission!

Delaney’s newest album is called “Tall Like The Tree” and you can tell she knows what she is doing.  This is her third studio album and it packs a punch that you want to have again and again.  She worked with Joshua Bartholomew and Grammy winner Jason Mariani.

Lions” is the third song on her album and the first one I’m going to mention if you just want to download one song. Every time I listen to this song I get chills, because her voice is very powerful and the way the instruments are in this song with the piano, and strings it’s just perfect.  I have a feeling if this song was a single for her she would be making huge waves in the music industry.

That isn’t the only song off this album that make me stop what I’m doing and just listen.  It’s hard to choose just a few songs but “When We Are Young” is another song I need to mention.  The beat to this song is great and then you just catch you self singing to the chorus and doing a little dance.  Again she knows how to lay down vocals perfectly and knows what instruments sound amazing together.  If you only download a few songs off albums (which this album you should get the whole thing) this is another song that you need to have.

I could go on and on with more songs I loved to listen to but that would end up being the whole album.  I suggest going to iTunes right now and downloading this whole album.  You can trust me on that you will not be able to stop listening.  I hope we can hear more work from this amazing artist who have the vocals and the talent to be the next big thing.  This album is 5/5 stars with no doubt.
