More than 100 students who participate in Longfellow Elementary School’s VYMA (Verdugo Young Musicians Association) Music Project will perform a free concert with Samvel Chilingarian as Artistic Director and Dr. Anne Rardin, Music Director at 6 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 19.
Three afternoons a week, students at Longfellow participate in the after-school music program, which is offered through a partnership with the Verdugo Young Musicians Association and PasadenaLEARNs. This program provides comprehensive music education with free instruments and lessons in a group setting.
The location is at Longfellow Elementary School Auditorium, 1065 E. Washington Blvd. Pasadena, Parking is available in the lot behind the school.
