THE SHOWS  Survivor  Can you imagine being in the midst of your second chance to play Survivor, you're in the middle of the Cambodian jungle, it's the middle of the night, you're sound asleep and Jeff Probst cruises up on a boat to grab you and get you home to your son who's in the hospital? That's what happened to Terry Deets last night. Thank goodness we didn't have to wait til the finale to find out that his son's okay. Apparently, the kid needed a heart transplant and got one and he's doing well enough now to be in clip at the end of the show. So, that's good news. Also good news, we had another buff switch and the disgusting eating challenge. This time it was tarantulas, pig snouts, pig brains and duck embryos. We had a teary Steven Fishback and a crazy blindside thanks to Chaos Kass and her ability to work with Spencer, the guy she hates the most. Brilliant move for both of them. Looks like next week is the merge, we'll see who outwits first...Kass or Spencer, would love those two to be the final two. Now that would be a classic.
The Goldbergs

It's SO easy for everyone on TV to come up with awesome Halloween costumes every year because unlike any of us, they all have a real staff to do all the imagining and creating. Adam and Bev's Alien/Predator costumes were awesome and I guess in TV Land we could see that Adam and Bev would spend hours making their Halloween costumes but we all know there's a full staff in some basement in Van Nuys making these things for all the Hollywood Halloween episodes. The question is, who gets them when they're done with them? There are probably tons of kids trick-or-treating in Beverly Hills wearing these things every year. Okay so last night, we're watching The Goldbergs and my son says..."it's just not that good anymore, Mom." Could Puberty Adam have forced the shows early shark jumping? I think, quite possibly it could have. I think I've been in denial a little about this. I still love Bev, Murray, Erica and Barry. I still love all the 80's references, but I agree with my kid. It's just not working as well, now that Adam's in that awkward stage.There...I said it. I've put it out there, lets move on. I still have not 1 but 2 Goldberg Bonus Trivia Questions for you. Give me the song they played at the end AND the movie that Bev's final costume came from.
Black-ish
When does Michael Strahan sleep? Last night he showed up in Black-ish as Dre's cousin Junebug. It must have been filmed when he was doing Magic Mike XXL because Strahan was jacked! Strahan and his kids were Dre's cousins from the hood. Pretty funny actually. The Johnsons costumes were super clever and no basement staff really needed. They were the Obama's. Dre did Barack pretty well. Of course Bow was Michelle. She got the hair right but of course the eye's always an issue Zoey was Sasha, Diane was Malia, Jack was Bo the dog and Lionel Richie Jr. was Secret Service. The Johnson's may not have needed the basement costume staff but someone went to town at Home Goods. Did you see all those pumpkins? Who has that many pumpkins in storage? I know I don't.  THE OTHER STUFF
-Looks like The Player's as good as gone now that JLo's show, Shades of Blue's gonna take its spot in January. I'm begging the Blindspot producers to PLEASE hire Phillip Winchester. Please get Damien and Michael back together again. They belong together like PB & J. Make it happen NBC!

-Miss USA and Miss Universe have finally found a home…on FOX. No Donald involved at all. Somehow I just feel like he's gotta have a side deal or something, I'm sure if it's The Donald telling the story, he made milllllions selling the pageants, but who knows.

-More shocking than last nights Survivor blindside, Grandfathered got a Full Season order.

-For any of you guys who watched General Hospital back in the Ice Princess days, you may want to set your DVR's. Robert Scorpio's coming back to Port Charles in December.  Robin's coming back too, but I was out of GH by then. No clue what ever happened to Anna, but it would be cool to see them all together again.
