I think the cover leaves a ton open to interpretation. My first impression is that Sookie is walking away from the shifter/were suitors and heading off into the sunset… and the bats. Which is making me ubber giddy, since bats and vampires are stereotyped as being interchangeable.
We have much to ponder these next 6 months as we wait for Dead Ever After to be released on May 7, 2013.
