Day 31 – Girona

We are now in Girona, which is an hour north of Barcelona, and it is amazing. We are staying right in the old quarter, and it has tons of tiny little streets, convoluted alley ways, and so much history right outside our front door. We are staying with an old high school friend of Quinn’s dad’s, and she has a great house with the original stone walls and big wooden beams, and a big courtyard, very cool. Yesterday we had a casual day, and our host took us around the city (with her beautiful husky) and showed us some of the historical sights in Girona. It has a very small town feel to it, with lots of culture and very friendly people.
