Some gamers love their Xbox 360 so much that they wish they could bring it with them everywhere they go. Well, soon you might be able to even take your Xbox to work and play Halo 4 on your lunch brak, thanks to this cool new open source DIY kit, “Darkmatter” that’s currently collecting funds to bring a Xbox Laptop to the gaming market.

The Darkmatter kit comes in different type of models which even allows you to turn a Xbox One to a laptop. According to the development team Techjango, the Darkmatter Xbox laptop comes with an internal DVD and even works with Kinect and other Xbox peripherals.

Techjango is planning to launch this as a fully assembled product and also as a DIY kit. The assembled Xbox Laptop will have a 4GB storage, Wi-Fi, 15.6″ 720P display with 1366×768 resolution, along with all the other Xbox features.

I’m not sure if anyone would want to buy a Xbox laptop to play games on the go, when there are much more powerful gaming ultrabooks out there at a cheaper cost. But, if you’re into hard-core Xbox gaming, go make a pledge for Darkmatter at Kickstarter to make it happen.
