Dare 2 Bare is a national event campaign run by Australian NGO World Youth International and their Australian volunteer network Step Out. The concept is that once a year volunteers will live on the streets for 24 hours, with nothing but a $2 coin to help them through the night. No bedding, no technology, no branded clothing, no food. Volunteers could pool their coins together to make best use of the limited money to help them through the night. The event is aimed at raising awareness and funds for WYI’s projects in Kenya, Nepal, Peru and Uganda as they are sponsored to take part. As well as this they will be experiencing a the lifestyle of those who live on limited resources.

We decided that the graphic work should be in line the branding that we had earlier designed for the NGO (see below). This is the reason for the vibrant colours and the use of the 4 WYI symbols (house, chicken, heart, raindrop) represent the 4 essentials. The  3 dimensional logo was to add impact and boldness to the feel of the campaign, demanding to be noticed.
