When Skyfall hits the theaters later this Fall, a question arises, how many more James Bond films is Daniel Craig going to appear in? Casino Royale was a fantastic entry in the James Bond franchise, but Quantum of Solace is better off forgotten. Depending on which side of the fence Skyfall heads would determine how excited I’d be to hear the latest news.
According to website, MI6, Craig is confirmed for two more movies, but the source for that confirmation is not revealed.
I could imagine his last appearance in the series happening in 2016, but there can’t be four year gaps like what happened between Quantum and Skyfall. With only a two year gap can the put enough quality and excitement into more James Bond entries? It remains to be seen, but I guess I’m happy that there’s an actor attached for the foreseeable future. For those keeping score at home, if Daniel Craig appears in 5 Bond films he will become the third longest-serving Bond just behind Sean Connery and Roger Moore.
Skyfall opens on November 9th.
