Looking for an island paradise which combines glamorous beaches with a rich history? If so, then Cyprus is the perfect destination for you. Basking in over 340 days of sunshine a year and laying at the crossroads of three continents, Cyprus is the enchanting mix of East and West, mountain peaks and deserted beaches, untamed natural beauty and ancient history and a bustling city life. By legend Cyprus is the birthplace of the ancient Greek goddess of love Aphrodite, Cyprus offers a romantic and spiritual honeymoon destination.

Cyprus takes its influences from both Greek and Turkish cultures, further heightening its appeal to visitors. The island is the third largest island in the Mediterranean and is stepped in history with evidence of ancient occupation and civilisations which are strongly apparent everywhere. The island is a scenic jewel which adorned with dramatic coastlines and has some of the finest array of beaches in the world.

Cyprus’s resorts are undoubtedly the highlight for any honeymooners who choose to visit for a romantic honeymoon. With so many eloquent resorts to choose from, but I have managed to choose three that I’m convinced you will love.

The resort has four restaurants and five bars which proudly showcase seasonal produce, crisp local wines mixed with traditional Cypriot charm and incredible live Greek music each night of the week. The guest rooms are decorated to make the most of the light and space, finished with elegant furnishings, combine this with luxury balconies and marble bathrooms, create a truly special property for you to spend your romantic honeymoon.

Anassa – meaning Queen in ancient Greek, is a member of the leading hotels in the world. It is a five star luxury hotel resort which exudes the charm of Cyprus. The resort sits overlooking the magnificent Akamas Peninsula and the Baths of Aphrodite.   Cyprus, the island of love

The resort is just a few steps away from some of the finest luxury water sports facilities in Cyprus. Take advantage of the warm tropical surroundings; dive, sail and windsurf in the pristine waters of the Arkhams Marine Reserve or why not take advantage of your surroundings further by venturing into the wilds into the Arkhams Nature wild reserve, for high octane activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking and hill trekking.

Four seasons Hotel Beach Resort – is an independently owned and operated hotel which sits on the sandy beach resort of Limassol, which is just a short drive from the city and is in between both Pathos and Larnca airports.

Cyprus, the island of loveThe 5 star rooms have been created with the perfect balance between being luxurious and homely, with the majority of rooms coming with their own Jacuzzis and rain showers, whilst other suites include individually designed suites. A highlight to any stay at the four seasons is a trip to the Shiseido Spa, it’s an incredible location to revitalise your body and mind in Cyprus’s first luxury spa. After the whirlwind of planning your wedding day, I can think of nothing better than to sit back and relax letting the staff at the Four Seasons cater to your every need.
