All academic admissions are based on the merit of the applicants as determined through an admission test conducted for the purpose, subject to satisfying other prescribed eligibility criteria. Foreign nationals are exempted from the above requirement of writing the admission test.
The admission tests are of two types viz, Common Admission Test (CAT) or Department Admission Test (DAT). Depending upon the combination of programmes an applicant chooses, he / she may have to appear for the CAT (and / or Group Discussion
/ Interview) and the DAT. Candidates are advised to read carefully the rules in this regard and appear for such examinations that would make them eligible for the programmes they prefer to get admitted to. No representations for redressal of grievances caused by acts of omission or non -observance of rules by the candidates in this regard will be entertained by the university.How Ever for admissions to all B.Tech., 5 year Integrated M.Sc. in Photonics, and 5 year B.B.A. LL.B (Hons.)/B.Com.LL.B.(Hons.) programmes, the mark list obtained in the qualifying examination has to be produced invariably at the time of admission.
Those who fail to produce mark list shall not be considered for admission.
