Currently Loving: Products In My Bedside Drawer

By Makemeupmandy @mandywebb28
Recently, I've been more hardworking with my skincare/beauty routine. It's a bit of a roller coaster with me - I get lazy with it after a while then I get really good with it. Here are the products in my bedside drawer that I use every night (well, almost) before bed.. it is not my full skincare routine (which are all arranged in a huge cupboard in the bathroom); these are just the products that I like using while watching TV or reading before bed.
Currently Loving: Products In My Bedside Drawer

Brauer Paw Paw Ointment

This is the latest paw paw ointment that I am trying out, having been introduced to it during the NSW Bloggers Brunch. Brauer also has a whole new range of lip shimmers which I have been swatching and will do a review soon. This paw paw ointment is petrochemical free and I use it for extremely dry and rough areas such as my elbows and knees. My husband also borrows it often for any cuts/minor injuries from working around the house.

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream

I have really dry and unsightly cuticles and this is my go-to cuticle saver. This is already my 3rd tin and it is something I will always repurchase. I never tire of the refreshing citrusy lemon scent and I love the balm-like texture - so light and never oily. Its natural ingredients helps nourish weak nails and soften dry cuticles very effectively.
Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil
This lip balm has been in my bedside for a really long time. I love how it always hydrates my lips so well and I have always been a big fan of Burt's Bees. I recently started getting a little bored of the smell of this one so I have added....
Born To Balm Watermelody
to my bedside drawer! This awesome lip balm by the lovely Sophie is one of my favourites. I have to say, I really have never  had a more sweet smelling or tasty lip balm. Yes, it actually tastes really sweet and yummy. There are nights when I use the Burt's Bees one and then lay on my bed craving the Born To Balm Watermelody. I've been using it every night recently. Love it!
The Body Shop Absinthe Purifying Hand Cream
As I have mentioned before, I had mild eczema as a child. It never affected me badly but I do have very dry and sometimes, coarse & rough skin. I love applying generous amounts of this hand cream to back of my dry hands before bed. I enjoy the light, refreshing scent too.
Lush Dream Cream Hand and Body Lotion
I have so many Lush products now, it is no surprise that at least 1 would find its way into my bedside. I have the bigger 240g tub that is really a little too big for a bedside drawer, truth be told. However, it's so smooth and deeply nourishing that I just stuck it in anyway...
I always try to rotate the products in my bedside table just to try out different products and to finish different ones. I'm the worst at finishing products - if you have noticed, I have not done a single empties post. I have not finished any product in ages, not even little sample sized ones. Hopefully, that will change soon!
