I found this wonderful artist while reading the Lake Placid News paper. Her name is" Cree Scudder" a bicoastal artist with works in both San Diego and Lake Placid NY. I find her art to be a fresh use of mixed mediums, colorful and thought provoking. There is something for everyone in her gallery of paintings. Cree has had her work accepted into juried shows at the San Diego Art institute and also kindly presented work to the Lake Placid Center for the Arts to Benefit the Humane Society of the North Country. I wish I saw that show, but alas I was here in New Jersey. I will actually be in both San Diego and Lake Placid this summer, so I hope to view her work in person!
