Emma & Roe

Happy Monday folks!

In the last few years, charm bracelets have been increasing in popularity. There are hundreds and hundreds of charms to choose from to personalise your very own special bracelet. Some choose to decorate their bracelets based on travel destinations, romantic sentiments, favourite animals or even food. I jumped on the charm bracelet bandwagon fours years ago and I fill my bracelets based on milestones or special events in my life. I find it’s a really good conversation starter if you run out of things to talk about with friends or random people you just met. These days there are a few companies that specialise in charm bracelets and one of these is Emma and Roe.

The Emma and Roe range was initially sold in Michael Hill stores but they became so popular, they branched out online and opened free-standing stores. What’s cool about the Emma and Roe website is you can build your very own charm bracelets directly online by choosing the type of bracelet and adding on different charms. You can see instantly how the bracelet looks and chop & change charms as you please.

One of the good things about charm bracelets is that even if you’re on a budget, you can still afford good quality jewelry for family or friends without breaking the bank. If you’re feeling lazy, you can even buy a charm for every birthday and Christmas..you will never have to think about what to buy again!

I was super spoiled by Emma and Roe, they allowed me to choose a few pieces to feature on my blog. The charms and bracelets that I received were made from 925 sterling silver, were high quality and had fantastic craftsmanship. Both bracelets can be opened and closed easily with one hand.

Here I chose the starter bracelet Pink Glass & Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet. This starter bracelet comes with a bracelet and 7 charms to help kick start my Emma and Roe charm collection. This bracelet feels light and does not weigh down my wrist. I totally love the feature pink Murano glass charm. I accidentally dropped my bracelet onto my floorboards and can safely report back that nothing was broken, you can be assured that the charms are sturdy and does not break easily.

The next item I picked was the Purple Triple Wrap Leather Charm Bracelet (52cm) and I also added 2 individual charms to it. I have tiny wrists and this leather bracelet fits perfectly. So if you have a slightly wider wrist, I would suggest buying a bigger size. I’ve been wearing it everyday since I received it a couple of weeks ago and it’s still in perfect condition. Emma and Roe also provides a care instruction card to ensure that the product is kept looking good for longer.

The first charm I selected is the Pink Cubic Zirconia Pave. I chose this because it would look good on it’s own or combined with my pink Glass & Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet plus it was pink and sparkly so I could not resist.

The second charm I picked is the Eiffel Tower. I’ve always wanted to visit Paris and I seriously loved how cute this charm looks. One day when I finally get to go visit Paris, this charm will have a special meaning.

Did I tell you that Emma and Roe provides complimentary gift wrapping for each purchase? How good is that!!

I have to admit this charm collecting business is quite addictive. Just like the Pringles slogan, “Once you pop, you can’t stop”.

Do you own a charm bracelet?
