The sounds of The Reklaws, Natalie Stovall and The Drive, Brett Kissel & Dallas Smith kicking off Boots And Hearts in less than 3 days is already bouncing around in my head!
Well, bags are almost packed but thought it might be a good idea to remind everyone how crazy of an event Boots & Hearts can be. This will be my 3rd year attending the amazing festival and 1st in a media capacity. Over the next couple days I will list a couple of items to remember and things to expect! So here’s what I have for today.
1. Arrive Early! Don’t try and leave the house 2 hours before Toby Keith hits the stage on Friday night! Ya won’t make it. I would say the first day and half the there is a bit of traffic getting in and takes awhile so plan to arrive early and expect lineups there will be over 30,000 people there and it takes time. Gates open at 3PM Sharp on Wednesday July 30th. BUT DON”T LINE UP! They will not allow a line up so don’t aim to be at the gate before 3PM.
2. Here’s a list of a couple of the essentials to help make life easier while at Boots And Hearts: Toilet Paper (just in case), Flashlight, a way to charge your phone or camera (They do have some charging stations onsite), any adult beverages that your hoping to consume at the campsite however ICE will be available for a fee from a vendor, oh ya and bring your PARTY HAT! This is sure to be the highlight of your summer!
